This is a very strange topic, but you know how a while ago they had gloves in Jamaa? Wait, what am I saying, OF COURSE you know!
They came in a variety of colours, and now they are GONE from Jamaa, just like a lot of other clothing items you could've gotten...but for some reason, everyone is WILD about gloves. Don't ask ME why, I don't have one, don't want one, and don't need one!
So, a lot of jammers really really want them! They have now became this super ultra rare and special item in AJ. Everyone is trying to trade items for just a plain old glove in jam-a-grams.
But...the TRUTH about gloves...
It is NOT worth trading with someone for a glove. I have a friend who traded their police hat, and another item that they really liked with someone who offered them a glove in return. So, she went first, and sent her items. Great! She got a gift back from the animal she was trading with! And then, she opened it. It was a necklace. One of those plain necklaces worth 45 gems you can still buy today.

SCAM.
So, unless you have objects you are DYING to get rid of, and you really don't care what happens, I say, either have a glove YOU bought, or don't have one at all. The choice is yours, but, personally I don't think it's right to have a 60 % chance of being totally scammed. So basically, just remember to always be careful, and remember you can always report players if this happens, or add them to your ignore list. If you don't know how, I recommend voting 'game guide' on the poll unless it is already gone. It looks like it's winning by a landslide anyways. Also, scroll down for my new glitch post!

Gloves are so popular because they look COOL! BTW- You typed this in 2011, and it's 2013, but its still the same case!!!!! Your fox hats probably weren't rare back then, but now everyone would trade anything for one! Just cause they look COOL! People want them for the same reason, cause they like the way they look. The only gloves me have is the silver glove from epic wonders, and a pink non-member glove ^.^! I feel berry terrible for your friend :'(. Whoever scammed your friend, I'm sure dat that scammer is lost tin mind, and might already feel sorry by now. At least it likely won't happen anymore :)! It's so annoying! I have a glove and I'm wearing it on my wolf, and everyone in Jamaa Township is asking, Can I have that? Or they say, Send me your glove for rares and betas. I' like PEOPLE YOU ARE NOT GETTING A DUMB GLOVE. Like why is it such a big deal?! It's just a glove!

Thanks fuzzy shyivy for posting. I got scammed. This person called wolfhe said "Best trade wins all my stuff, I'm leaving animal jam." I trade her 2 rares (non member nerd glasses and aviator hat) for a cat poster, she accepts, then I get 2 jam-a-grams but from my buddies. I never have got the items. I hate the scammer because she never even gave me one item, not even a neckulace. WORST TRADE EVER. I AM KINICYCLAWS, PLEASE ADD ME!
Hey Fuzzy! That friend of yours.. i think that scammer was me. I REALLY DIDN'T MEAN TO! I thought she said she wanted my neckalace, mainly because my brother kept rambling on about how much he wants the white moon necklace. I guess i got super confused and sent her that instead! tell your friend that i'm very VERY sorry and i will give her the glove as soon as possible. Thanks!

You get scammed, it's kinda your fault. No offence, but you should never agree to trade except using the trading system.
Or I'm guessing it's because gloves are beta and for non members.

I understand how gloves ARE rare. They ARE rare. They recently sold them as a rare item Monday. Sadly I was non member at the time. I still have two of them though. A green one, and a gold one. They're cool, though I don't wear them that much. Nice posting a comment. I have a blog too, but I was told not to mention it XD

Seirsly?! I have a rare black glove and used to have 5 but i traded them but i only have 1 left. I have been playing animaljam for 3 years now my cousin quite a long time ago and he wants me to have all hes stuff he has so many rares we both r rare we even have rare book shelves i have 3 and he has 2 we have lots of items i havnt been playing animal jam for a while now cause im into games like ROBLOX AQW and im really adicated to my phone too. So when i quite i dunno what to do with my stuff in thinking about im thinking off giving my password cause people need my stuff more then i do!!!
i have a rare glove and no one really wants it. If you are going to trade for it, dont give up your most prized possessions. its really not worth it beacuse then you'll be stuck with it.

Hey I'm georgia31545 and my friend has two gloves! he has a regular old silver one you can buy in epic wonders and a orange one. I agree with the annonimous who said gloves are weird but i think that jammers need free chat and members shouldn't exist its just not fair. And no offense to any members!
